    Citadelcadet-
May I suggest that you buy some reference material and learn the basics before jumping in to the pond of collecting SS material. Neither this tunic or the "Allgemeine" tunic you posted are even close to original pieces. If both of these items are from the same source, I would definitely avoid buying anything from him. If the seller is presenting these pieces as original, he is either naive and uninformed or an outright crook.

Unfortunately this is one big piece of shiite and I hope you did not pay much for this thing.

To me the cleaning tag is the most obvious fake... more than one spelling error and text that makes no sense.

Bob could not be more right. High-end SS collecting is deep water and there are a lot of sharp rocks beneath the surface. As he indicated, the items you showed aren't even close to originals, which tells me that you are jumping into that murky water head first with your eyes closed. Don't take this the wrong way; we've all been there, particularly at the start, anxious to believe in an item (and a good story) and build a collection. However, after bumping our own heads a few times, we learned to look carefully before we leap. I recommend that you start out slowly. Focus on lower-end items like basic cloth insignia, in which there are fewer pitfalls and ample references available to identify the fakes. Buy the books, they will pay for themselves in the first fakes you learn to avoid buying.

                Good luck!
                Brad
