IMO is the same style
There have been several threads on this and other forums dealing with "field made" garments. IMO, the hat you have posted could only fall into this "field made" category.
As such an item, collectors will for ever be leery of the authenticity of such a piece.
Specifically, as this relates to this example, if it is an original period "field made" piece, the "owner" would certainly, it would seem, have chosen to wear it. From the pictures showing the hat internally, it does NOT show any evidence of this.
