in the mail today probably the best SS album Ive ever seen! 358 pics in a SS issue album from LAH. Poland, France, & into Russia.( A really nice pic of Sepp & the führer in the field w/ führer standard)Anyway check out the bizarre tab here. Is the tab unusually long or are the runes done way to close to edge of tab? Anyone have an original to post? regard Rich

That looks like an early 'numbered' tab (SS1, SS2 or SS3) with the number picked out - as was done post-1940 - and the tab then sewn on upside down. Nice photo.
