Question About SS Panzer Wraps

I have a question for you SS panzer experts out there. When was the SS form of the panzer wrap introduced? I have been told 1942, but Mollo shows this type wrap being worn in France ca. 1940.

Would appreciate the "straight skinny" on this...Tom

the black uniform came in use by the ss in 1937 army pattern then modifiation's made 41-42 .very nice uniform.there is a guy called simon i think who has some verrrry nice ones .kind regards judas

Period photo's ( Germania ,Deutschland,LAH,s panzerspahzug) place it at 1940 and possibly 1939 IMO.Cheers Steve
