what colour is the edge?, it looks like just a rank chevron to me, you can find these like this that are just sewn to the uniform without a cloth backing

The shape is like the Old Fighters Chevron but without the twin black stripes. Usually the SS-Sturmann sleeve rank is on a black triangular backing, regardless of which uniform it is placed on.

Its like a greenish brown. Its all one peice and it looks like you guys say like it is a rank chevron with no backing!

Whats the branch of service though and value?
