    SS pin, real or fake?

    Hi!
    This one has been pointed out as fake, could you confirm this?

    J.R. Cone in his book on enamelled badges says JFS never had an SS contract, and the only genuine SS stickpins are marked either "Hoffstatter" or "Gahr".

      I concur with Sjl on this.

      The Hoffstatter pins are numbered and I do believe the Gahr pin is not.
