It is as stated above a book mark cuff title made post war there is a series of them, I suggest your friend reads the quoted book again as the cuff title he has used to prove his point says "army pattern" not SS, so prior to the quoted date there was no ss pattern cuff title.

That aside the "D" cuff title that started this thread is nothing like the wartime BeVo made examples which it is trying to represent, BeVo did not make a Deutschland enlisted ranks cuff title
