SS Pocket Watch

Hi Guys,

I have got this pocket watch and since I do not know anything about timepieces, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this one is original or if it is a phantasy piece??? It is made by B. DEVISE, it does not work. There are no engraving or anything else on the back of it or within the various compartments. The enamel is chipped under the frame of the glass. The watch is certainly an old 19th century watch and, to me, the SS applications do look good, well made well applied and well aged, but as I said before I simply do not know if they are genuine or not.... Any info/help is most appreciated.... Cheers, Torsten.

PS: I am only posting a couple of pics here to show the face of the watch and the SS runes and if anyone would like me to post more pics of the complete watch, then please let me know.

Phantasy items like this have been floated the market in the last couple of years.
I'm supriced that people still buys this junk.................

thanks for your responses guys.... all I needed to know...I have not spent any money on it. Have been given it by a customer of mine to sell on commission...I was suspecting that it might not be good and so, I will return it to my customer. Cheers, Torsten.
