Hi Merdock
The collar patches belonged to a Sturmann (equivalent Gefreiter in the Army) in the Standarte 35 (Kassel). The black aluminium twisted cord is arttribbuted to the years October, 1934 up to 1940. The losange badge is the SS Marksmanship badge (SS-Schützenabzeichen). It was instituted in November, 1937. This is the 2nd class

Merdock,
Nice grouping of items. I never saw this thread or I would have commented for sure. I collect the Allg-SS numbered collar tabs. If you ever want to sell, please let me know. I am going out momentarily however, when I return I will post pictures of some similar items still attached to the uniform.
Ok, I'm back. Here are some insignia still attached to my Allgemeine-SS uniform. It used to belong to an Unterscharfuhrer in Sturm 6 of the 2nd Sturmbann of SS Foot-Standarte 69 based at Hagen in Westphalia. The chevron indicates he was an 'Aterkampfer'...a member of the NSDAP or SS prior to Hitler's assumption to power in 1933.
I also have separate numbered collar tabs for Standartes 13, 25 and 89 (a small but growing tab collection).
