HITLERS VALETS WHITE DINNER JACKET Here’s a chance to own a rare piece of history. The Rare of the rare in SS uniforms. This is the white twill cotton short cut tunic from the Berghof, used by Hitlers SS Valets in serving him, for dinner and other functions. Stout white cotton material is heavy, which allows a clean fit, and looks well when worn. Has snaps sewn on for all the SS insignia, including the Sleeve eagle, and collar tabs. Has provisions for slip-on boards. No provisions for a cufftitle. Inside, it has, handsewn in the owners initials in red, with his number, and also, had written in the neck, his name, which goes with the initials. Unique makers stamp inside as well! With the number 58. All buttons match, are silver pebbled alum, hollow backed, held on with split rings, not SS stamped. Pleated pockets. This tunic, along with several other important items came to use several years ago, "liberated" by a German Gentleman in the area of the Berghof at wars end. Other items with this, were Eva Brauns family photo album, and some papers to her, these have been sold, tunic is as found by him, with no insignia at the time. This tunic was to be in the up coming Michael Beavers book, before he passed away last year. This tunic can be seen in wear in many books, worn by members of the SS serving Hitler at the Berghof and in Berlin. This is the only known example in existence today. A rare chance! Price on serious request only please

Nice white jacket with a lot of female snaps on it... would be a ball-buster to try and restore with insignia!

Would anyone have any information about the type of insignia needed to restore this tunic?

Or even better parts/set on sale somewhere!

What was the typical and maximum rank of a valet serving at the Berghof?

Would the eagle be bullioned or embroidered type?

Even better if anyone has a good period photograph to work from.

                              Thanks
