    very early M31 Zeltplane

Here are some close ups from the labels from two M31 "Zeltplanen" that I recently fount at my last trip over to germany. One is a VT/Allg. Plane, the other one is one VT Plane because it is Reg.#, SS2 (Germania) and Sturm stamped.

Ganz meine Meinung! The Whammond site had one of these for awhile. I like the above labels and also trust colleague Hassler to know his material. One is used to this kind of marking in the Kampfbinden, while this kind of thing is more rare. The white Zeltbahn tag is similar to certain tags I have seen in the Tornister, actually. I owned an Affe with the RFSS tag and another RZM tag in the blissful innocence of the 1970s. One my colleagues here in the great North also had a similar Affe and some experience with these tags in equipment, I think... Postscriptum: Affe= fuzzy back back
