Originally posted by BobwirtzI have never seen a pink interior like this, not to say that it's wrong but darned strange. I don't like the runic collar tab. Generally speaking these tunics only had the sleeve eagle (Bevo tropical) and slip on shoulder boards/ straps. Occasionally you find one with the sleeve rank (SS-Oberschutze, SS-Sturmmann or SS-Rottenfuhrer), usually the tropical chevrons on black backing. And I've seen them with collar tabs and cuffbands. Because of the lack of insignia, I think a lot of collectors disregard these. Your last photograph makes the jacket itself kind of pink but that could be the photography.

Very interesting topic. Some great uniforms and tropical garments are shown here. I once had a beautiful photo album in my collection from a member of the 4. SS-Polizei-Division, showing interesting tropical uniforms with cufftitles in combination with pith helmets. Now I have only this framed portrait.

I Would Like To Think All That Have Responded So Far,and Look Forward To More Comments.i Was Looking At The Reply By Pimpf And Noticed Some Dark Spots That Show Up Under Close Up Picture.i Black Lighted The Inside Of This Tunic And It Shows Dark Spots Through Out And On The Outside Also. So Now I Am Wondering If This Is A Dying Flaw Or What. Has Any Body Else Looked At The Material Under A Black Light And Noticed This.these Spots Are A Dark Yellow.just Thought If These Spots Are Consistent In A Known Original,we Might Could Date The Material'from Dying Process.just A Idea.and Hope This Doesn't Sound To Far Fetched.
