Readers of the Schlicht/Angolia book on the army uniforms, as well as those who have had the chance to examine a number of authentic SS collar patches, will recognize one of the cardinal flaws here. However, the Stickerei is well executed, to a surprising degree. I have the sense that Ostmaerkische and Sudetendeutsche Allgemeine SS material form a special form of fake, actually; that is refined.... sapere aude.Comment
