SS collar rank tab: opinions please

Hi,

I have a SS collar rank tab that I have had mixed responses. I thought the best thing would be to post here for the experts to give their opinions. Please all responses appreciated. I would like to know before putting on estand.

I, for one, like this tab. However, I do notice that the weave is tighter than I would expect for a machine-woven rank tab. It is certainly tighter than that of a comperable machine-woven (BeVo) runic tab. Here is a comparison with a very nice woven rank tab I found on another thread. As you can see, it has a weave which more closely matches that of a runic tab. There are generally very few of such woven rank tabs on the forum. Does anyone have others to share for comparison?

I see no problems with the rank patch, some are ribbed like the runic some are like your example, and some are just ribbed rayon cloth

Not all tabs were made from the same weave of material, I have no problem with this rank tab, looks genuine to me.
