Wiking CT - Looks Bad???

Thanks Francesco, This is mixed in with my friends otherwise very nice SS collection. It's been giving me fits for awhile. Another "vet buy"!!

I'm going out on a limb here because I don't have my reference books with me - out of town again on business - but I don't believe the WIKING cuffband was made in a straight Bevo like this. There are a couple of aluminum flat wire varieties but I believe the majority of these are made in the so-called RZM style. Like I said, I'm a tight rope walker without a net right now so I could be wrong. This cuffband is definitely a reproduction. Weren't some of these made for the veteran's reunions?

Take a look at my thread. I think this is the same type of cuff that the Waffen-SS veteran I meet had in his own collection (bottom of thread).

I do believe these were the type of CT's given to the vets of that unit back in the 60's when they were having their reunions...these were bookmarks.

Exactly, so it is in fact a "decent" "copy".
