                    I don't honestly know if it's good or bad - but it seems to be very neatly hand-embroidered. Much better than the Delta copy. On the other hand, the rank badge that goes with it on eBay does not look good. I think I'd give them both a miss.

                      The foreign volunteer tabs I've seen all have a square of white/pearl colored stitching on the back side so as to secure the black material to the buckram. In my opinion, the tab is not original.

                        Not technically correct, there are foreign volunteer tabs without the line on the back, the line on the back does not secure the tab to the buckram its use it merely a position marker for the assembler also the line should be the same colour as the rest of the tab.

                        I agree with robins comment the tab appears to be hand embroidered very carefully and if you ask me too carefullyto give it the appearance as being machine done, while they have done a good job i do not like the buckram or the backing cloth and take robins word that the rank patch is iffy as i have not seen it.
