Hello SJP, It could be real lockaly made tab. It was a common practice in Baltic region. For example I have seen close tabs with metal runes on period photos of Latvian legioners. But as you understand nobody give you 100% guarantee of originality for such sort of items. If you ask me what is my personal opinion of this tab? SJP, I like your tab and I would take such thing for my collection, because LAtvian legion is object of my collecting...........BUT ONLY IN A CASE IF ITS PRICE WILL BE REASONABLE. (I mean as for doubtful item)Comment
