Opinions on a SS Armband

i was able to compare this one with one that another member had that was authenticated by some of the heavies on a previous max show (isnt that right glen?) anyways, i did not had mine on hand when he brought his so i just wanted to pass this one by you guys just to hear what you have to say. here it goes.

Virtually all SS armbands are given the thumbs up these days.

The tape and circle are the incorrect materials.

Can you post a closeup of the tag? I am pretty sure it is a fake too.

Hi Das Reich, I'm sorry to say but I don't like it because of the material of the white background and the swaz also. It appears that the white background does not have any yellowing to it at all. After 65 years there should be some.
Also we need a closer look at the tag, especially the stitched circles on both sides of the tag. Sonny

I would not buy this because: the red Grundtuch looks wrong; the white disc is ditto; especially the manner in which the HK is done; the RZM tag is quite fake looking. Viel Sammlerglueck.

Generally, when the RFSS tag is present, there is also the VA contract # in its various forms of 1934, of 1935 &c. This is an oldish looking fake RFSS tag. There are newer ones, or better ones, to be sure, which are closer to the originals. Sorry.

unfortunatly I have to agree with the Guys here. the black stripes and the swasticka should be ribbed like mine. check these out. as far as the tag. I cant say, mine does not have one, most say it must have been a paper tag and the glue fell apart over the years or was never even with one. mine is unissued as the ends were never sewn together. sorry, Glenn
