For me the construction of the wheel is to sloppy. Also you can see the back of one wing under the other.

Backside doesnt fit the "real" thing either. Same for the "surplus" wool hanging on the sides, indicates this is a new thing.

            Stay away!

              Hello Arne Håkon!

I know that there were made some types of wss collar tabs here in Norway during the war, and that some of them had the cardboard backing. It looks like the tabs you got have that backing, and if so, your tabs has to be very rare! I have never seen tabs with cardboard backing "live", have only heard about them. Any history behind this set?

              Cheers mate

I agree with Øyvind, that it could be a rare set. The Danish Schalburgkorps also used cardboard backing on their sunweel tab. Those tabs was made in Denmark.

                Best regards
                Pedersen.

You cannot compare this copy with the cardboard-types frome the Schalburg Korps. There is world between these two types.

This Sunwheel type is a common copy. Mostly you will not find theses in pairs but as singles. Again this "rare" pair are "conveniently" a pair.

J would like to hear S******248;rens and Garys opinion!

the collar tab is a fake, and it is constructed in exactly the same way as the modern fakes in the picture below, except that someone has removed the bukram and replace it with cardboard
