This seems to be a relatively new practice, especially with cuffbands. Since reproduction bevo cuffbands can be identified readily from characteristics on the back, some fakers have been sewing them onto a sleeve and then cutting it off to make it look like some veteran cut if off and brought it back. This is done so you cannot see the back or feel the cuffband all that well. This looks like another form of that - looks like the collar of a StuG wrapper too. What will they think of next?

Is it possible to see a larger photo of the skull. There have been some fine fakes of thyis pattern, but I would really like to see some good detail before giving up hope. A hands on examination would be best, but a scanned image in full size, or larger, would help considerable.
