Armpit blodtype tattoo

Dear Sirs.

I have read in books about all SS personel having their blodtype tattooed in the left armpit. I have however never seen a picture of a tattoo like that.

Can anyone please show a picture?

These tatoos aren't a blood type, but from POW camps in Soviet Union, including some SS. All inscriptions translated to Russian but with some mistakes, for instance author considers GD like SS unit.

My friend Erich how was a member of the "Reichsführer- SS" has an common "B" under his arm. Another vet i know has tattoed an "A", he was with "Hitlerjugend"

Dear sirs.

Thank you very much. I had seen a tattoo with both "SS" and the blodtype. But I can see now, that it is not the "official" tattoo.
