I would have one of them in my collection but if the price will be 790 Euros, sorry I'll pass on it.

          Hi,

Very difficult to set a price for this one, but the ones offered before was in the same (expencive) price range.......... I also beleive 4-5 was found together. They wehre cut into seperate items and then sold seperatly. It is expencive, but if you by this one you know it is real. This shield was known in pictures, but was not on the market before these 4-5 shields wehre found(never seen it offered for sale by the dealers in Norway anyway). I am sure that some existes/traded in collections of course. Since this is probably (we might see pictures of such in the future!) not used on military combat uniforms (The Legion etc), it is maybe not so collected?

I also beleive it to be pictures of male persons in uniforms using the same shield in Norway, beeing Hird factory gards or similar. We will hopefullly see more pictures in the future.

          Rgds
          Pål

In use, but not on a frontfighter. This pic is from a norwegian front-sister in the red cross. Didn't they buy these in Germany?
I've never seen this badge on a frontfighter tunic, they used an other type.

You are corect. The badge you see in the photo I posted is a Norwegian frontsister (red cross). There are two (might be one more) known photos of these shields in use. And all of them on frontsisters. These shields were bought in cantines (right word?) in Germany, they were never given out. You had to buy them. This is a fact, as the frontsisters have told us this. So this shield is not a "military" item.

              Cheers
