    Felix,

I agree..Peter does have some hearty prices on his SS cloth items. The reason I bought it up was the fact that he had a POR on it whilst he has a HJ cufftitle and docs for $4500.00. I would think that that grouping is much rarer and priced actually low in my estimation compared to a POR on the DR cufftitle. makes me think he is asking more than the $4500.00 for the HJ grouping. In any case I still think $3500.00 is a very good price for the title in question.

Did the guy mention more insignia or items in this grouping or is it just the Das Reich cuffband and documents? It would be possible that there is even more...

Do you want to know the answer for sure ????

I have asked him if there is more the first time he came up with the items, (now sit down please) He said that he a jacket from the vet within the whole lot, but he have sold it for 1000 !!! € (he thought this was much) to a dealer. He said the jacket was without any insignia but very short and green. I asked if the buttons were in the middle like on a normal uniform. He said "no they were covered by a flap on the left side".

Yes, he probably have had the Sturmgeschütz Wrapper of a "Das Reich" soldier. I wouldnt mention this detail at all, but since you asked me.

Here is one just like yours with the silver-gray silk thread borders and aluminum flat wire lettering. This is on a enlisted assault gun wrapper that a friend of mine once owned but sold many years ago. Unfortunately he didn't sell it to me - missed opportunity - these SS assault gun wrappers don't come around all that often - at least the authentic ones... Bob

Thanks for posting the title. Looks like it was a stunning example of a jacket
Is it machine sewn on ?

                  Many thanks Jens

This is part of a larger grouping from an Oberscharfuhrer. It came w/his M43,trousers and undershirt. It shows moderate wear and was aquirred from the Vets family 1993.The CT is machine sewn.

Okay, Jens. This is the only other photo that I have of it so I hope it works okay. It is missing the sleeve eagle, has been for a long time. My friend never restored it. If I remember correctly the runic collar tab is officer quality (silver bullion) and the shoulder straps are ARMY and sewn in. There are loops for 2 badges, one on top of the other. Bob
