nice and not common eagle ,the sewnig style here is not ww2 imo and looks very modern made. -
With the cut off insignia people are very suspicious those days ,
to the sewing , it was a couple deferent style sewing and this one looks ok to me

I agree, I think this bird is a fake. I have several of these pattern in several different colors of thread. This bird is a little squished and the head is way off. The feet even look way off.Comment

I don't like any of it . . .
The wear and tear don't match the eagle / As it been already been stated the eagle has been stained, possibly tea.
Eagle is a fake. . . and not rare.
For me, the whole thing is a put together with too many red~flags, the only battle it has seen was dying it and sewing it to the cloth with the desired stitching
The rare eagle I'm sure your thinking of is this one? it's also not that rare, they do come up
