    SS straps with tropical tresse

    Hi Guys,

I would be grateful for your informed comments on this pair please. They are mint condition pretty much. The white markings to the reverse I have seen many times on Heer straps in particular and I understand this meant that they were near the end of the bolt of cloth?

    Many thanks for your thoughts

I see a beautiful pair of WSS signals straps with original Heer tropical tresse perfectly applied in the correct period manner. The manufacturer simply used Heer tresse either by mistake or because it was all he had or was available. Because of their mint condition, we can't tell if they are just unissued or if they were rejected by the SS and sat out the war in the factories' rejects bin. Either way, they would be a welcome addition to my collection!
