SS skull tabs for review

Hello gents,

I came across these declared originals, but I feel there must be something wrong with them...
What is your opinion on these tabs?

The flatwire tabs look fine to me, unless someone knows of a brand new super fake that I'm not aware of.

I'm suspect of the runic. never seen cotton silver grey thread used for pipping in lieu of aluminum.

I don't think so Dave. The placement of the pipping is off too...IMHO. They are either cornered or in the middle of the tab. This is off to the side so unless the maker had a bad day, even grabbing the wrong piping material then I have doubts to when the piping was added. I also don't like the look of the runic.

The runic tab is original. I have 2 identical from my ads back in the 1960s and 1970s. Strange non metallic piping, but original as they are. If anyone has any to sell as fakes, please contact me.

The bevo skull tab looks like it was married to a wool rank tab that is larger and scrapbook removed, then sewn together post war to make a "pair". Bevo with wool mixed set post war put together and sewn together, imo.
