Did these guys ever see any combat, or where they just used for propaganda.

Some of them were attached to Div "Nordland" and were with Rgt "Danmark" close to the front, but they didn't participate in any real fighting, presume the Germans were afraid to loose the few propaganda-Tommies they had in the W-SS.

Was this in the last days of the reich, fighting in Berlin with Div.Nordland.

As far as I remember it was by the end of March 1945 some of the BFC were attached to the division "Nordland". It was only a few volunteers and they were soon withdrawn from their only front line experience.

I think there were 4 or 5 Americans but I think there more British than that.
