Elongated rank tab

Hi,
This is a strange tab,it looks like an early attempt at a bevo type,but for some reason the lower corner has been vastly extended.I wonder why.Cheers.

Does anyone have a piece of the reproduction Bevo rank tab so we can compare the material with?
I've never seen anything like this Bevo material before. For me, this tab is obviously too long which tells me it has signs of reproduction.
I'm not overly keen on the buckram too. The only piece that's maybe right is the center pip. I've started to make investigations and feel you should look at this tab as
a reproduction put~up. . . fake tab with a cheap inexpensive original pip.

I agree its a strange tab.I disagree that because one corner is long that it must be a repro.After all fakes are made to make money.You wont make

David could be right. Material looks indeed a bit different then Bevo...but that could be by the lighting of the photo. Do a burntest with a thread.

Franco. . . Fakers will do anything to make money and extract it from your pocket, as you say not idiots. you must also understand the Bevo material too
The reproduction is very similar but very different. The tab for me is also far too new looking like just put together. The only original item for me is the pip.

If you own the tab, please post pictures with the line of sight of the camera perpendicular to the plane of the tab. To me, it looks like the owner took pictures at at an angle and the "long corner" is caused by distortion in the camera.

Also, most forum members prefer pictures to be directly inserted into the post, rather than using the thumbnail method.

It looks like member rbno was right,the pictures are distorted.Now the tab has arrived I can post my own pics and what a difference.

Very surprised you bought it. . .
What everyone is missing is there is a known reproduction tab on the market with looks like yours.
This particular repro tab and the material used is not the same as yours.
I've enclosed two examples of what the material should look like.
instill think this is a pile of pooh, but as long as you are happy that's all that matters.????
I'm going to be more than careful to give my opinion in the future, as it's a waste of time.
