    SS officer's belt buckle

Hello everyone! This belt buckle is made of zinc alloy, and its back is damaged. Please comment on obverse, thank you all!

Looks like a Emil Juttner buckle to me

Indeed, this buckle is of the latewar Juttner design. However, there are some extremely convincing casted zinc repros of these buckles since years ago and most, if not all of these fakes are missing the reverse hardware because the fakers can't cast all of the components correctly. I have seen how good these fakes look on the front side, and I am seeing lots of red flags in many of the details of this buckle, just on the front side shown here. So, I do not have a good feeling about this buckle so far and believe that is very likely to be one of those fakes. Perhaps some good photos of the back side would confirm either way. This is my opinion.

Thank you all for your comments! The hook on the back during the war was damaged and has been replaced with a police system.

It's definately a no for me. However, if you want more opinions, you could post this in the buckle forum, or perhaps J. P. or Ric could share their thoughts here?
