    2 Rank Tabs for opinions.

Morning all. Just having a sort out .... opinions welcome please .

Truth be told, these are easy to make from plentiful original materials, and when correctly built are not possible to tell from originals, IMO. There just isn't much to them to judge.

The second tab is constructed of original materials, and sets off no alarm bells.

The first tab may be OK as well, if that backing material is the same as the what is sometimes seen on officer's tabs - I can't tell from the pictures. The pip is the large type from shoulderboards instead of the correct smaller size, but that's not a show stopper.

I rarely comment on these rank tabs for exactly the reasons Robert stated.

And in this case, he hit the nail squarely on the head.

I think the first one is too long to be SS. . .

Could be, but they did come is a variety of sizes as you know. The second from the left is LW.

This is problem with much SS cloth like these. So much of it is very simple to make and old materials are still out there. You cannot be 100 percent sure.

The enlisted tab might be ok judging from the photos. I agree as well with that they are easy to make and they look very fresh.
