    Deschler Skull

There are several members on this forum who are very well versed on the metal insignia. I must admit this is an area which I'm still learning. I searched through past topics and came up with some mixed information, so I figured I'd start a new thread on this skull. I hope my photos will show enough detail, and if not, I'll add more. This marking is very pronouned and defined unlike other reproductions of the same insignia. The skull itself shows overall wear, but I can't go by that alone. Again, thanks for the knowledgable input.

        Hello Paul,

I believe this is a casting. The prongs are incorrect in width and thickness. The overall skull looks thicker than the Deschlers made of plated brass.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.
