Just out of curiosity - why two original Dachau produced tabs may look quite different in details ?

As I understand it, not every "Dachau" item was produced on site. It was a distribution and supply depot. Hence the difference between the two tabs; made at different places by different makers but sent to the camp.

I have seen a relatively good amount of original variants in the Handschar tab..at least 4 or 5...no doubt one of the more widely produced tabs.
