The pictures is posted on my behalf. I have already seen the skull in the pinned fake-thread. What is it that make it a definitive fake? I have gone trough a lot of info on this forum but I can´t find out why it is a sure fake.

Yes, the skull is a reproduction. These are well known reproductions and can be found very cheap anywhere, anytime. These came out in the 80's and were
being sold by the buckets full.
Gary, did you see these back in Belgium the 80's together with the
380/360 marked SS eagles? I usually see them together as sets.
Anyway, these skulls are an obvious attempt to copy the Assmann skull design
but the biggest problem is that even though they were all basically
identical, they came with many different markings, (one manufacture would not have had more than one SS contract number), and most of them
were not even Assmann's markings, (although they did make some with M1/17).
I have not yet seen an original M1/17 marked skull, but M1/17 was certainly
used on original SS eagles and the eagle you have posted appears good,
but I would have to see a close-up of the head and chest areas to tell for sure. Can you post better pics?

          Best, Chris

            Chris,
yes, at that time they were mainly in sets (eagle&TK)
            cheers

Thanks for your answer. Too bad about the skull. So the problem with the skull isn´t the quality or how it is manufactured but the marking?
I´ll try to post better pictures of the eagle shortly...or get help with it

The quality and construction of the skull is much different from the originals.
All you have to do, is look at an original.

                Best, Chris
