    SS Panzer

Gentlemen, here are a few pictures that I would appreciate some input on, it appears to be a late war LSSAH Panzer ensemble, I had Mike Horetsky and John Casino check it out and I will post the assessment shortly. It is definitely controversial . Best regards..David

Better pictures would certainly help a lot : a black Panzerjacke in the shadow doesn't reveal much ...

However the eagle appears to be much darker than the faded cloth of the tunic. That much can be seen, but yes not much else can be in the dark pics.

too much rain, but spared the 145mph hurricane winds once more , will post soon, interesting piece, the eagle and cuffband are 100% original and period to the tunic..best regards

Can you please supply some pictures of the inside lining and markings (if any)?

I dont understand then why you posted pictures and asked for input if you already know its an original period piece? If thats the case no further opinion is needed and you can enjoy your tunic.

aside from the SS runes being set a an odd angle......the wrapper itself is a-typical. Non-wool, non HBT.. with a front pocket. Tough piece to get a good feeling on. The lining if it has one will, I am sure, be a-typical as well. A couple of this style of wrapper have been discussed before on one of the forums a couple of times. Probably a bad bet....

I am sorry, but this is a non-standard wrapper. The material is odd, the breastpocktet on these kind of wrappers is odd.. all in all: I don't like it.

are there metal cypers on the boards or are the woven maybe colored woven?

The breast pocket, hmmm? Over all with this pictures it is hard to judge and I can tell you for sure answers tunics need a hands on inspection in every detail.

I hate to be a fun hater but.....I would like to undertand what you are saying....is the tunic real because the insignia has been there for a while??? Cause I have serious doubts about the tunic. If there is evidence that this style of tunic was period porduced please inform me further otherwise your assumption may be slightly askew.....

In any case, as John Pic said, if you are happy with the tunic..............
