Here are two pictures of a Danish W-SS volunteer - 18 months passed between the 1st and 2nd picture, but from the aging on his face it seems like like a lifetime ..... and it was!!!

His was "MIA" in April 1945 in front of Berlin and never returned to the family in Denmark.

Nice photo comparison... But is he first wearing a M40 tunic and later a M36?
