Janke, or not, I find that the tunic posted on this thread has, or appears to have, too much bleed through, which, I have been told, is characteristic of certain reproductions. There is another Peas Pattern tunic for comparison presently posted on E-Stand http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=106917 and it is a very good piece which displays very little bleed through.
Also I would like to know if all the exterior closure buttons are the removable type which are secured by circular S ring retainers?

Good point Trevor...
I am interested in the point trevor makes here because I have seen Tunics offered for sale with a little bleed through, no bleed through, and as much bleed through as this one, and I don't feel this is going off topic because it refers directly to the one in question here.
Regards Craig.

normally they would also have the police litzen on the collar-board
and as you see 6 button clossure and 3 holes for the belt ramp
(instead as the ss 5 buttons and 2 holes)

It Is Real!!
It is real, for sure!
I have an identical tunic like your in near mint condition with the litzen and the shouderboards, I know where was founded and I can tell that this one is original.
Very nice tunic! but normally the collectors looking for the more common SS dot pattern tunic, if you observe exist some difference in design and color respect at the normal DOT pattern.
Sure in a collection of SS Camouflage items is an interesting piece.
All the best Lorenzo
