Allgemeine SS cap ?? Attic find, 50 years too late ?

Gentlemen, I would You first ask, if this is Allgemeine SS cap.I found it myself in the attic and nothing else military. Only old furniture, ethnological matters, war newspapers ..... There was no visor, no button...Nothing. Now I ask you,if this is Alg.-SS cap ? Is there anything to do with it? Restore, discard or burn ? The photos aren’t the best. Even when I have cap it in my hand, I don’t know, if the border is white or yellow...Tnx (Google translate)

Put it on E-Bay. These kind of things can sell for big money there.

I dont think there's much that can be done for this one now.

But if original, I'd echo, a sale on a venue like ebay might do well since it's 'innocent' and could go for strong money considering condition.

        I agree.
It is too far gone to do anything, only to be left as it is. Maybe someone will be interested in it regardless of condition.

Even better if you can find out the owner of that home and trace it back to the owner that likely lived there.

That would be an awesome find regardless of the condition. I really can't see any holes and marks where possible visor could be attached. Interesting what cap experts might say?

More likely it was an Imperial Leib-Husaren Regiment Nr.2 cap.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about SS caps. I looked now on Google what SS cap Kratzen is. Depending on the location of the find, it’s 100% original, but I still don’t know what it is. I photos it in the sun today. So, I’m not even going to try to restore it, but should I put it on ebay?
