Hi Chris, you've thrown me now mate because I was going to say that they look like genuine Zimmermann badges to me..
No doubt about the cap itself though, it's a genuine August Müller made example.

Original Degen and insignias but no provenance.

Both are Zimmerman's on the visor - however, Zimmerman's are marked 499/41
So that means that the insignia are not original to this Allgemeine officers visor.
Cap would be circa 1935 - 37. So Deschler's would have been the only option.
But nice visor and degen. Don't know enough about black greatcoats to comment.

Degen is a good one and it looks like typical for an unmarked piece.

Very nice grouping.
I agree about the cap insignia.
I only accept Deschler TK's as type 2 insignia on black caps.
Not talking about the earlier type 1 skulls.

There is the outline of another skull there as well.

Why the private purchased coat has a RFSS label, which can be sewn only in Vorschriftsmäßige items. It looks at least strange to me

Typical HH "Group". If you take that "Group" for full, you better of to Collect something less expensive and less Fantasy...Jesus
