I don't see any SS connection here unless i'm missing something? Its RBN marked yes, and RBN can also be seen on SS items at times however whats the connection with SS issue? This item should be for the Heer section "on its own".
I had one of these once and it simply had "Taken from SS" marked in ink pen on it and no other markings or info. It was not sold for any premium as there was no provenance.

Hello! These types of winter jackets were widely used in WH \ LW \ SS. Only the stamp of the subdivision-part can indicate the exact accessory. But it may not be. The photographs show examples of the use of various types of troops.

The thread starter is a normal issue Heer/WSS/LW rabbit fur one.
In the original pics, Wuensche and the Lufty guy on the far left both have captured French rabbit fur onesComment
