Yeah, not turned in the right direction enough.
I used a magnifying glass and still couldn't tell for sure.

His collartab isn't visible.
The dark spot that you see is the space between the collar and the collar of his shirt beneeth is uniform.

My guess is the collar tab was marked out after the war, as was the swaz of the sleeve eagle?
