That's what bullion runes are supposed to look like.

                      Yes!
I purchased it almost as soon as it posted. Too rare and unusual to pass up.

Does anyone have any insight as to what these numbers may pertain to?

take really care if you want to buy an original cape, they get copied quite frequently over the last years. Decades ago non was ever on the market and easy to do for a tailor.

Thanks, Robert. I've been burned on cloth items in the past and chose not to dabble in them anymore. I am not an expert in cloth in the least bit which is why I posted on this site. This was a unique item available for a very short time (I'm guessing). With the 100% satisfaction guarantee I felt good about pursuing.

I've checked it out thoroughly and everything seems to match up perfectly. No inconsistensies I can detect across the entire garment. Very high quality. It smells like its been stored in moth balls for 50 years!

Does anyone know what the stamped markings in the inside might refer to??? Best guesses so far have been size markings of some sort.
