There was a Time where it was enough to just put original Insignia on a Franky Hat, maybe for some still enough, but these Hats are perfect Examples why you need to study and use some of the Threads here in the Forum....they are very very helpful to avoid Trash like this...

The cap is 100% put together and not an original SS officer cap!
It was one time a very nice EREL Heer artillery officer cap.



It's easy to see that the sewatband is resewn. EREL never use black thread to attach the sweatband. EREL heer caps had the lining sewn in zigzag stitch, and no straight stitch like on this cap. KM caps had often that type of stright stitch.


What a shame to distroy a such nice cap!
