Oak Leaf Helmet cover - Opinions please:)

Hi Guys,

I'm fairly new to the forum, but this is a great place to be. Wat an info. Amazing!

So I am working on my own collection and I can get my hands on an SS Oak leaf Helmet cover. But I'm not sure if it's genuine or not. Could you guys/girls give me some advice?

Even the construction panel sizes are off, giving it an odd shape.

You are right .It looks like it would fit a GI helmet.

And I think that the cover is original but the thing it is put on may not be a german helmet.

Or forced onto a much bigger sized helmet , seams are nearly popping
