Thanks for sharing! One of my favorite Allach pieces, the story behind the fate of the original bronze sculpture is quite fascinating. It was melted down for the war effort, fountain bowl destroyed by bombing, eventually restored by Pagels and rededicated.

Very special and rare piece of allach. One of the best non-military, non-political, with immense cultural significance!!

I have always been impressed by how truly rare the high end allach pieces are, especially when compared to the other items collected such as daggers, visors, etc.
