    SS collar tabs from eMedals

    Gentlemen,

I woud be interested in buying these SS collar tabs from dealer eMedals but I'm mainly an edged weapon collector and do not know much about these cloth insignia.
The thing that puzzle me the most is the fact that they are well below market value as they usually sell for a lot more, perhaps the price is too good to be true ?

    Thank you for your comments

This site often skips fakes. If we talk about tank tabs, I would not consider them at all for buying dumayueto fake,And the second may have a chance to at least see the material itself from the inside

Hello, why would you even think about giving a dealer who constantly medals fakes!!
There are honest dealers out there and they should be rewarded with your money.

Sure, I would be happy to but I didn't know that eMedals was selling so many fakes.

Even the best dealers get fakes on their shelves, and sell them unwittingly (sometimes wittingly). Since I have been collecting, the difference between a trustworthy dealer and one who is considered a bad guy can change in an instant. Know your stuff; ask for help if you don't - like this guy did.

I wouldn't buy either set of tabs. IMO, the pink-piped pair are definite fakes based on materials and construction, and the runic pair have the runes too tightly set. Someone went to the trouble of recycling original backing material from common tabs, though to make them more convincing.

Isn't that the truth. I agree entirely.

                      One more experience...

As even a beginner, I was able to easily spot the "4 feather" Panzer eagle fake on that site. I wrote them an email telling them it was a fake, that it was widely known as such on WAF, and they could double check me very easily if desired. I received
no reply, the eagle stayed on there for months, and eventually sold for the price of
                      an original.

                      Caveat Emptor!

That's one dealer I will never do business with, why bother ?

                        Thanks all for your comments.

                          must agree
years ago he was much better
I was dealing with Mike all the time and I spend some dollars there
now look like its the $ sign is more important then honest sale and ward of mouth will soon or later take its toll
