RFSS cuff title

Hello all,

A friend of mine has this and asked me to post it here. Personally I like the band material itself (and it's fading) but the embroidery is a bit sloppy, is it just a Friday job or a fake entirely?

The ends are not finished and one side was lengthened, perhaps for wear on an overcoat or something like that?

It does look a bit sloppy . . .
I am sure you have noticed the runes are different.
But let us not forget this is hand embroiled, so should we expect that ?
It might be my sore eyes be in places on the front of the CT the material looks loose to ?

It looks a really good cuff band, if its a repro its the best repro that I have ever seen.
Have a look at a close up of these similar bands they have very different lettering.

If it's a Friday job the maker must have had a very long lunch in the pub.

I also believe the band has been used before,
possibly it may have had a number on it too?
