      Very true, but still you'll have to admit that there are a LOT of bogus items sold from those places........

        Points of the compass

        When I was a young collector in the San Francisco Bay Area, we had a pretty vital home grown industry of fakers, actually: the redoubtable "Delta International." Such a point bears keeping in mind in a globalized undertaking. I rather think that the very best fakes come from western Europe, actually, or from Asia, as well. When I was young, Germany and Austria led the way, as well. One should not pick on the Slavs, I think.
