especially the tab . . . That material shows good honest wear it has been constantly touched by the soldier that shows sweat and salt for it to become shinny as it is.
The eagle is a very late war pattern I have seen those many times before on many knowledgable dealer sites for decades. Let's pull out the ace card which is fashionable around here now a variant on an earlier pattern
If in MO its a fake it's one of the very best I've ever seen.
