I think the Nordland cyphers are original . But as mentioned by Robert , it is not always so easy to know if they are original to the shoulderboard.

I do not like the LAH straps. Not originals IMO, but rather the last generation copies from Europe.

If that's the new reproductions, then we are in trouble.

You as a "specialist," apart from "IMO", have specific claims to these boards. Tell them that others, not as smart as you, will read them. Or can you only guess in the thread?

The LAH boards in this thread are fake and there is no doubt that they are fake.

Compared to the 2 examples that appeared during 2019 they are clearly the exact same new pattern that appeared.

They are well made but once you have handled, studied and scanned enough real boards, they are not that hard to spot. Even when comparing them to known boards shown in various books, one will soon notice the difference but one should look at them on a PC Screen and not on your smartphones. I for myself have 2 Screens for my PC so it is perfect for looking at insignia.

But i must admit that they could fool most of the collectors that might be not that familar with LAH boards.

                  Thank you for your opinion!
But I never heard, I didn 't see the conretic in your words!
What not so? Font, thread, size?
Apart from general words, no facts are presented, not described.
Apart from two photos, I don 't know what to do? What should I compare?
Where am I supposed to see? To understand it 's a fake.
It will help other collectors not to make a mistake!

They are quite clearly high end reproductions, you should read Scott Pritchett's book on GD showing how boards are made.Self explanatory really !!

                      Dear Sir,

I will not provide any Information what is wrong with them. Of course each comparsion and study will help collectors but it will help the dark side too and I want to avoid that.

There are plenty Pictures of original boards available on WAF, various other Forums and various books.
All you have to do is to study and do your homework.

I would be very interested as well from whom you got these boards? If i where you i would have returned them as soon as possible.

                      Best
