By the way, if you want to sell the shields for repro prize, send me a PM and I will PayPal you the money instantly, ok?
Sorry yes, you are correct that's what I meant. So just that one mention.

Again, where are your sources on information regarding this?

I don't see how you can confidently say these are fine when Walter is a known repro dealer and they match exactly what he has listed.

"So and so told me so" doesn't count as a legitimate source of information.
Very simple : try the black light on your "repro" badges and wait for the result .
Vintage Repros do exist but they always shine .
These badges came from various known sources for a very long time , Dachau stocks vet's souvenirs for example .
If you really think they are repro then send them to me ( not to the others ) , i'll pay twice the price of a repro badge ! Plus postage !

The fluoresce test has been somewhat debunked and is not a stead fast indicator of authenticity in cloth. I can't find the post, but someone on WAF uploaded an article talking about it and how the Germans used non-fluorescing pieces of cloth during the period.

Also people over on War Relics think the Croatian is fake because there's too much white on the back.

So send me your badges ? . i'll accept less threads on the back of the Croatian one,no problem ...

The black light is only a tool but you have to know how to use the results of a test : some period cloth are glowing like the pink colour cloth .
But period white threads never !
It does not mean that all non glowing badges are original but that helps to have its own opinion ...
